The orchestra meets during term times between 2pm & 4pm every Tuesday at the Alsager Social Club. Membership is currently c50 plus some guests who help us at certain concerts, if needed.

Members come from all walks of life and ages with a great atmosphere. Members pay a term subscription, based on £2 per week, at the beginning of each term to cover the costs associated with the orchestra.

The orchestra is a full light orchestra, although there are currently some specific vacancies in the strings and percussion sections. This said, all players are welcome, but please note that this is not a learners group and players do need to be reasonably proficient/experienced.

We welcome players who are returning to playing after time out for family and career commitments.

The orchestra specialises in playing themes from the large and small screens as well as musical stage productions.
